Welcome to Holy Trinity Parish!

Catholicism came to Platte County by way of the Jesuit Kickapoo Indian Mission in June 1836.

The first Baptism was registered March 14, 1841, in Weston, Platte County.

The parish was founded as a part of the Archdiocese of St. Louis in 1842.

Members cut the trees, hewed the timbers and fired the bricks for the original church.

The first Pastor, Father Francis Rutkowski, a former Polish Count, solicited gifts from European royalty to furnish the church.

The present Church was
dedicated October 27, 1912.

Holy trinity to host red cross blood drive

Holy Trinity to host Red Cross Blood Drive

Holy Trinity Catholic Church will host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Holy Trinity Parish Hall, 407 Cherry St., Weston, MO.

Donors of all blood types are needed. According to the Red Cross, type O negative is the universal blood type that can be safely transfused to anyone and is often used to treat trauma patients.

The short amount of time it takes to donate can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical condition. We urge eligible donors to join us in the selfless act of giving blood.
